🔥Hot Interview Questions(06/25)

Meta:

  1. First Question: String addition.

  2. Second Question: Given a sorted array with duplicates, determine the count of unique numbers.

Amazon:

Four rounds of interviews conducted by members of the devices team:

  1. System Design: The focus is on designing a Hospital Portal. Key topics include file storage, failover strategies, database management, and consistent hashing. A comprehensive understanding of system architecture templates is beneficial, including knowledge of queue systems like Kafka and monitoring tools like Prometheus/Grafana.

  2. Topological Sort: Course Scheduler II.

  3. Word Ladder.

  4. Coin Change II.

    • Follow-up: Adjust the solution to account for a limited quantity of each type of coin.

DoorDash:

Two rounds of design interviews:

  1. Design Round: Focus on designing a system for matching delivery riders with orders, including unique challenges in conducting A/B testing (unlike traditional internet settings, variations need to be switched over time slots rather than deployed simultaneously).

  2. Restaurant Recommendation System.

One Round of Machine Learning:

  1. Machine Learning Fundamentals: An interview round dedicated to discussing core concepts in machine learning.
